We recommend you choose your pre-pregnancy size.
La Mami jeans' waistband adjusts to one size up, with a button inbetween. So, for example if you were a size 12 UK pre-pregnancy, our waistband can adjust from 12 UK to 14 UK, to 16 UK.

We love this question! La Mami jeans have been designed with post-pregnancy women in mind because they come with:
- An adjustable waistband for the 'inbetween' limbo where your pre-pregnancy clothes might not fit, but the next size up looks bulky and might get too big in a few months
- Functional features throughout for 'hands full' moments (secret credit card pocket, functional loops, deep pockets)
- They have been designed with the measurements of moms in mind. Did you know most womens' hips get wider after pregnancy? We haven't heard of anyone getting any taller though, which is why the next size up sometimes fits awkwardly!

Our jeans are intended & have been tested for post-pregnancy, however, they are probably useful for the first & second trimester before the bump really bumps.

We take a lot of pride in the fact that we spent over 18 months on product development with experts to ensure we created adjustable jeans that were truly innovative.
Our adjustable waistband is able to expand across two waist sizes without looking bulky. It also has a soft inside lining that's kind on sensitive bellies & scars, and ideal for babywearing.

We've designed them with moms in mind, but also had a few tests on women that have never been pregnant and they loved them! Women's weight & waist measurements fluctuate for a number of reasons (even just after a big meal 🍝).

- Reshape whilst damp (so you can skip ironing!)

This is our first product run, and as a small business we had some limitations as to how many colours and sizes we could stock for our launch.

Sustainability & Ethical Production

La Mami jeans are manufactured in Zhejiang, China, in a small factory which specialises in denim production.

La Mami jeans are made with 100% cotton denim.
Our current fabric is not GOTS certified but we're driven to move to a GOTS certified fabric once we're able to produce higher quantities.
We sampled a GOTS dead-stock fabric but the fabric quickly pilled (when your clothes get little balls of fluff), so we also needed to balance making sure we produced quality, long-lasting garments.
Being a small business is an uphill battle!

When we started out this venture, we heard from moms who had to restock their jeans and trousers in postpartum, as nothing they owned pre-pregnancy fit them. We even heard of moms buying the same item in different sizes as their bodies were still changing quickly after birth!
We're slow fashion by design, our jeans are designed to adapt as your body changes and have been manufactured to be high quality & long-lasting - so that your pair will last you many months after birth and beyond.
Our jeans are also 100% cotton and don't have zippers making them easier to recycle.
All orders are shipped in plastic-free packaging.
Moving forward we're looking to source quality, GOTS certified fabric and continue to make adjustments towards more sustainable practices. Suggestions are welcome!

In rare occasions, delivery may be delayed due to strikes and other unpredictable circumstances

Standard delivery is free on all orders over £100 within the UK. Promotion will be automatically applied on checkout.

We’re so sorry to hear that! If your jeans arrived damaged or you experience issues after wear we are happy to help. La Mami jeans are made to last, so email us at help@wearconuco.com (include pictures) and we'll get to the bottom of it.

If you decide you don't love our jeans you can receive a full refund (minus shipping if applicable) as long as tags are on & there are no signs of wear.
